This year, I set out to create something more tangible; something deeply connected to both the land and the people around me. That vision led to Tomifobia, a band project that embodies everything I stand for: creativity, growth, connection, and original music.
The project breathes new life into songs from my latest EP, Never Home Until I Wander, and beyond. Along my journey at university, I’ve met exceptional, like-minded musicians who share these values, and together, we are bringing this vision to life.
We are currently preparing for our live debut, which we will be showcasing across the province throughout the year.
I started off this year by sharing my latest music. Nothing like anything I’ve ever done before. I’ve experimented with a new direction, musically, sonically, and lyrically. Fell in love with the indie, alternative R&B sound and infused it with what I already knew. I feel very connected with this new blend of influences. But basically, the concept of this EP is that we never truly find ourselves until we explore. Life is an experiment, and you only get one shot at it. The songs in this project are inspired by things that are bigger than us. Life. Death. Planets. Stars. Galaxies, and perhaps, a higher being called love.
